On the evening of the 9th June in Gateshead, the Blaydon Race took place. The race has gone on for many years and runs for 5.7 miles. It comes from a famous Geordie folk song dating back to the 19th century and is currently run by a maximum of 4,000 people. The race begins in Newcastle and finishes in Blaydon, Gateshead.
CoreX sponsor the race
We were honoured to be sponsoring the race with a goody bag giveaway at the end. This included some fantastic products including a CoreX Fitness sponsor T-shirt, which went down pretty well!
The atmosphere at the event was brilliant, the sun was shining and lots of cheering onlookers were encouraging the rather sweaty runners over the finish line! It was fantastic for us here at CoreX Fitness to witness the sea of our fitness T-shirts as the runners swapped their sweaty garments for the nice new tee in their goody bag, it was great exposure for the brand having 4,000 people receive one each.

We hope to see more events with our CoreX Fitness branding on in the future!
